Ryan Leslie has re-opened his R&B book for a new chapter with "Run It Back", the lead single from his forthcoming EP "You Know My Speed." The Grammy-nominated artist and multi-platinum producer, known for crafting Cassie's infectious lead single "Me & U" spent nearly a decade building a telecommunications software business before surprising thousands of fans with a summer concert in Cologne, Germany and playing a slew of unreleased music. Following an extended hiatus, the maestro behind hits like "Addiction" and "Diamond Girl" is returning to the distinct R&B roots initially showcased in his 2008 self-titled debut album. As a producer, he has worked with a plethora of prominent artists spanning R&B, hip hop, pop, and gospel genres. His impressive list of collaborators includes Beyoncé, Britney Spears, Kanye West, Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown, Cassie, Rick Ross, and Fabolous, among others. "Run It Back" is a ballad reminiscent of the minimalist songwriting and production that earned him a Grammy nomination for his sophomore album "Transition" and sets the tone for Leslie's long-awaited return to the studio and stage.
