It is a soundscape of Raquel Ra Brown’s life, lessons, language and lyrics, co-produced by Raheem DeVaughn. It is a bit of journey in to the “know” of who and what and how she is, has been and may be. Ra weaves in and out of beats to create a picture through poetry and story-telling, transparency and parenting: both her daughter and her mother. She may tell your story somewhere on one or two, maybe all of the tracks but, any way, she will tell the truth. You will know, not just believe cuz there’s no place like knowing. You’ll see.
