About The Release

The original idea for this song was a vocal song about friendship post breakup (the intro melody) but I scrapped that idea and decided to focus on the instrumental. The opening violins were recorded in my friend Jasmine's closet about 4 years ago. This idea sat for a while before I got inspired and went through my archive and revived it. Sometimes you gotta let those ideas simmer before you serve them.
