Hood Orchestra- Live Album

In a divided world filled with a constant need to suppress people's voices, there has been an emergence of meaningful music. Where words fail, music speaks. Strengthened by years of social anxiety, my musical voice is the glue that holds together all musical genres. It breaks down the "musical hierarchies" created by society's elite and fuses music from underrepresented, oppressed people with that of the "highest achieving" composers in history. As an African American male, I bring my experiences outside of the musical world and translate it into notes, creating a new language that has the ability to code switch at any given moment.
