“For The Music Lovers” is a type of debut for singing bassist Aneesa Strings. Although she’s released two original bodies of work in past years, this is her first release to a large & growing audience. This EP consists of 5 songs, all covers of classics that show Aneesa’s influences, her roots & tastes in music as well as her range vocally & arranging skills. The listener gets to know Aneesa through covers in a way that’s surprisingly more intimate than her original music. She has simplified her sound to the core of what makes her special - her voice & her bass.
