Following the success of her debut album, "The Joy + Soul Experience", multi-hyphenate artist Joy + Soul takes us through a gambit of emotions and healing work while still managing to empower and uplift us! "Finding Joy in the Journey", her sophomore album, gives us a front row set as one walks along the path to Spiritual Enlightenment and Self- Awareness. On this project, Joy+Soul displays her ingenuity, coining the phrase and creating a new genre called "Screwfirmation", an infusion of dope affirmations set atop the flow of screwed and chopped music, originally created by DJ Screw in her hometown of Houston, TX in the early 1990s. Blending bop-your-head type beats, with soul touching lyrics, and the flow of her pen, she once again creates a sound that gets your head nodding while speaking directly to your Spirit.
