And with penetrating depth, Ayana’s work is making audiences feel and heal. Daughter of the late Human Rights activist Dick Gregory, Ayanna was raised with a deep awareness and concern for human rights. Thus her musical roots are steeped in the frequency of the “Freedom Movement”. She knew early on that her gift of song would be her gift to the movement. Ayanna is committed to following in her father’s footsteps, using her artistic gifts to spread love and liberation.
