This cover of Aretha Franklin's Day Dreaming is my homage to my late father and my declaration of love and longing for my soulmate, wherever he may be. 

The classic music my parents played during my childhood remains one of my greatest inspirations for creating timeless, heartfelt music. Mainstream music today leans too heavily on gimmicks and viral dance challenges, neglecting the art of storytelling and the ability to evoke raw, genuine human emotion. We’re caught in a labyrinth of sex, materialism, and partying, losing sight of the power of love, intimacy, and authenticity. Sapphyre Bardot is here to chip away at the concrete encasing the hearts of the masses and bring real music back to life.
